On June 29th, 2021, Fresno Housing celebrated the grand opening of their newest multifamily development: a 60-unit affordable housing complex called Solivita Commons in Clovis, California.

The ribbon cutting ceremony marked a pivotal moment for Fresno County and the City of Clovis, which was deemed in a 2020 court decision to be out of compliance with state-mandated affordable housing quotas. Solivita Commons brings 60 new families to the area in a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, all reserved for households making 30-80% of the area median income.

Amenities of Solivita Commons include a community clubhouse, onsite laundry, covered parking, fitness center, and children’s play area. Units are furnished with energy-efficient appliances and each have their own patio or balcony. As of opening day, all 60 units were fully leased.

Residents will have access to the area’s many assets including highly-rated public schools, shopping, parks, and higher education. We are proud to have contributed to this project and honored to watch this community come to life and serve its residents for years to come!
