With many specialized parking space requirements for accessibility, electric vehicle charging stations, and bicycles, hosting a “Mogavero University” session is one way we can keep our architects and designers up to date on the latest requirements.

Jay Hyde, Associate Architect and our in-house building code expert recently conducted a class for our staff about the types of required parking spaces and how to determine the number of spaces for our projects. Jay explained how to calculate Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and requirements, as well as clean air vehicle spaces and bicycle parking requirements in the California Code. He used examples of affordable housing parking, as a number of our current projects fall into the affordable housing category.
